Due to errors in the registration of VOMS library error messages and obscure handling of OpenSSL error messages, in case of handshake errors the VOMS servers shows errors like the following:
Error: SSL Handshake error:error:80066423:lib(128):func(102):reason(1059)error:80066412:lib(128):func(102):reason(1042)error:140890B2:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_CLIENT_CERTIFICATE:no certificate returned"
Which for normal human beings does not turn out to be really helpful...
